C-MAX™ Metal Hydride Hydrogen Compressors are the most reliable, lowest maintenance, most economical systems for producing compressed hydrogen. The compression system is based on an advanced metal hydride packaging design with enhanced kinetics, which provides the fastest cycling time per unit mass of metal hydride. This allows the C-MAX™ compressors to have the lowest system weight per flow rate of hydrogen, improving upon the economics and adoption of metal hydride compressors to the mass market. The compression component, metal hydride reactor, is solid-state and has very few seals, leading to the most reliable and lowest maintenance method of compressing hydrogen. The systems can be customized to meet various flow and pressure requirements and have the capacity of handling wet hydrogen.
